Have you ever tried baking your vitamins? Well, if they are made of real food, they should look like baked food when heated. You know, golden brown.
Do you ever see black ooze coming out of spinach or broccoli after you bake them? Of course not. Then, WHY are all but two of the vitamins shown here have black ooze coming out? Yep–it’s petroleum and coal tar revealing themselves.
Try it out. Bake your vitamins for 10 minutes at 350 and see if you still want to consume that.
And when you’re ready to switch to a real food supplement with NO coal tar and petroleum or ground up rocks, click here.

Is coal tar & petroleum the only thing that will make baked vitamins develop black ooze? What happens to vitamins that continue oils? Have you tried this with Mannatech’s GlycoBears as well?
Hi Lois,
From all that we’ve learned it seems like black coal and petroleum are the main culprits. However, there could be other factors as well that we haven’t learned about yet. I don’t believe this has been done with GlycoBears. It’s a 2nd tier technology before the newest technology (3rd tier) of hydroponics has been used with PhytoMatrix, PhytoBurst and Mannabears.
I believe it’s kept on the order form only because some people don’t like change and some kids are so picky it’s nice to have a different texture option.
Please let us know how else we may be of help.
Blessings,
Marla
Hi,
These comments do not have to do with the black ooze, but with the statement: “. . . it’s kept on the order form only because some people don’t like change”.
This is a wonderful opportunity for me to voice a concern. My husband and I (71 & 70 respectively) take the Glycential vitamins because they do not contain iron as does the PhytoMatrix and the Catalyst. Dr. Morales was always concerned with Larry’s high iron levels, and the PhytoMatrix raised it even higher. Larry is on coumadin and cannot donate blood to rid his system of excess iron. That is the reason we switched to Glycentials. They DO NOT contain iron according to the label. I do hope that Mannatech will continue to offer the Glycentials and keep them on the order form. It isn’t a matter of our resisting change, it is a health issue.
Thanks for listening,
Lois
That is a very valid point, Lois if iron is an issue. I do believe Mannatech will keep those products in stock going forward. We would also encourage you to state your concerns and see if you can get more answers from safetymonitoring@mannatech.com. It’s great hearing from you.
Thank you, I will follow up on that tomorrow.
